HVAC Installation & Replacement

High-performance HVAC installs built on building science & California standards

From like-for-like replacements to full heat pump upgrades, we design and install systems that are properly sized, energy-efficient, and aligned with Title 24 and ACCA best practices.

Our approach

Installation that starts with the load—not the old equipment

Replacing a system based on what’s already there can lead to comfort issues, short cycling, and higher bills. We use building-science principles and (when applicable) Manual J/S/D methods to match equipment to your home or building.

Right-size the system

We evaluate loads, airflow, and duct constraints so the new system performs as designed.

Design for efficiency & compliance

We prioritize high-efficiency options and documentation support aligned with California requirements, including Title 24-related needs.

What we install

Systems we design, replace, and commission

We help you choose the right solution for comfort, operating cost, and long-term reliability—then install it with attention to airflow, controls, and commissioning.

Our process

A clear, step-by-step replacement plan

You’ll know what we’re recommending, why it’s the right fit, and what to expect before, during, and after installation.

1) Evaluate the existing system & comfort issues

We review equipment condition, duct constraints, thermostat/control strategy, and the problems you want solved (hot/cold rooms, humidity, noise, high bills).

2) Design the right solution

When appropriate, we use Manual J load calculations and Manual S equipment selection principles to avoid oversizing and improve comfort.

3) Install, set up airflow, and commission

We verify key setup items like airflow, refrigerant charge, drainage, and controls so the system runs safely and efficiently.

4) Walkthrough & documentation

We explain operation, maintenance basics, and provide the information you need for rebates, permits, and Title 24-related documentation support when applicable.
